Johor Port Supports Johor State Police To Extend Relief To Underprivileged Community In Pasir Gudang

On 7 April 2021, Johor Port supported the Johor State Police in extending relief to the underprivileged community in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The programme was organized by the Seri Alam Distinct Police Headquarters (IPD Seri Alam) in conjunction with the 214th Annual Police Day.

A total of 30 sets of necessities including rice, oil, dry biscuits and other daily essentials contributed by Johor Port were handed over by Jamaludin Raja Mohammad, General Manager of Port Security and Safety to Inspector Mohd Fadli bin Abdullah, Head of Pasir Gudang Police Station.

The goods were then distributed by Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchai, Chief Police of Johor to asnaf, policemen’s widow and underprivileged during ‘Program Ketua Polis Johor Bersama Masyarakat Sempena Peringatan Hari Polis Ke-214 Tahun 2021’ that was held on 9 April 2021 at UTC Pasir Gudang.

Johor Port’s participation in the programme is one of its stakeholder engagement initiatives to maintain a good relationship with the Police Force and part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) effort. This programme has deepened Johor Port’s commitment to ease the burden of the local community where it operates.
