Johor Port and PTP Contribute Medical Essentials and Supplies to Johor State Health Department

Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port) and Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) in collaboration with Johor Port Authority extended contributions to the Johor State Health Department for its newly opened One Stop COVID-19 Assessment Centre (OSCAC) at Pasir Gudang and Bukit Indah in Johor Bahru, Johor. These two centres manage the COVID-19 patients for them to get the necessary advice and early review before admission to the hospital for further treatment.

Among the items contributed during the event were face masks, hand sanitisers, mineral water, freezer, industrial fans, printers, storage drawers and medical equipment such as Pulse oximeter and BP Digital set which are essential for the healthcare workers to perform COVID-19 screening at the centres.

The contributions worth more than RM10,000 were received by Dr Nurazimah Mohd Aris, Medical Officer and Norizam Othman, Assistant Medical Officer at the respective centres on behalf of Johor Bahru District Health Office.

The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and the frontliners especially medical doctors, nurses and healthcare support staff are the heroes during these trying times, for risking their lives to ensure that people are safe. Johor Port and PTP have been actively making contributions to frontliners since the outbreak of the pandemic and shall continue to assist the Ministry of Health Malaysia in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
