DUES AND CHARGES AS STIPULATED IN THE JOHOR PORT AUTHORITY (SCALES
OF RATES, DUES AND CHARGES) BY-LAWS 1988 OR THE PREVAILING CHARGES PRESCRIBED
IN THE AUTHORITY'S OR JPB'S TARIFF PUBLISHED OR CIRCULATED FROM TIME
TO TIME.

(4) Precious stones
(5) Precious metals
(6) Securities for cash and stamps
(7) Documents and title deeds
(8) Opium, essential oils and similar valuable drugs
(9) Lace, furs and feathers
(10) Work of Art and paintings
(11) Scientific instruments of all kinds
(12) Revenue of postal stamps
(13) Gold, silver and platinum watches
(14) Precious metal jewellery
(15) Antiques
(16) All other precious or specially valuable articles
(17) Fire Arm
(18) Weapon
(19) Explosive
(20) Radioactive materials
(21) Prohibited Drugs
APPENDIX III
POLICY ON VESSEL ACCEPTANCE
1.0 The following policy on vessel's acceptance shall form part of these
Johor Port Berhad ("JPB") Terms and Conditions of Business.
2.0 This policy shall immediately become applicable when the JPB Terms
and Conditions of Business which constitute a STANDING OFFER shall be
deemed accepted either
(a) upon receipt of notification/application from the User to JPB of
the intention to use and/or engage any of the facilities and/or services
at the Port as provided or made available by JPB,
OR
(b) when the User transacts any Business with JPB.
3.0 When the JPB Terms and Conditions of Business are applicable, the
User shall immediately be subject to the JPB Vessels Acceptance Policy
and shall comply with the following requirements:
3.1 A duly completed Form "Q 88" shall be submitted by the
Master 14 days in advance prior to JPB's acceptance of a vessel for
berthing. Form "Q 88" that provides erroneous information
shall disqualify a vessel from being accepted for berthing.
3.2 A thorough vetting/inspection shall be carried out on all vessels
that have exceeded the age of twenty (20) years.
3.3 Vessels that have exceeded the age of twenty (25) years shall not
be accepted to berth at any of the JPB's wharves.
3.4 The maximum period for dry docking of a vessel shall l be two (2)
years and six (6) months. We shall not consider any request for extension
of this period unless the applicant furnishes a copy of the certificate
indicating the vessel's Class Approval on (IWS) in-water survey etc.
3.5 A vessel exceeding twenty (20) years in age shall be required to
undergo a conditional assessment program (CAP) 2 rating. The maximum
validity period for CAP rating shall be thirty (30) months from the
date of CAP survey. The CAP 2 rating shall include a comprehensive fatigue
analysis and gauging record highlighting the maximum diminution of steel
plating.
3.6 A brand new vessel or a vessel that has been released from dry-docking
shall be accepted only subject to conditions to be determined by JPB.
3.7 All other documents to support vessel's integrity shall be accepted
in good faith.
3.8 Pre-berthing Inspection shall be carried out at User/Owner's cost
when the need arises.
3.9 The cost for Pre-berthing Inspection is RM5,000 per vessel.
3.10 JPB has the absolute right to reject any vessel and shall have
full discretion on the vessel's acceptance.
