JPB recently participated in a bowling competition organized by Kuantan Port Authority. The competition which was held at the Mega Lanes Bowling centre in Kuantan was organized with the sole intention of selecting players from the different Malaysian ports to represent Malaysia in bowling at the ASEAN Ports Association (APA) sports meet scheduled to be held in Manila next year.
Five types of games will be contested in the 2013 APA Manila sports meet namely bowling, badminton, futsal, marathon and golf.
The management of Johor Port would like to congratulate Puan Rita Kartini and En Suaini Sarpin for coming out 3rd and 5th respectively in the recent Kuantan meet, and for having been successfully selected to represent Malaysia in bowling at the APA sports meet in Manila next year.
