Johor Port Distributes 3,700 Packets of Bubur Lambuk

Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group partnered with Johor Port Authority (JPA) to organise another meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, ‘Bubur Lambuk Perdana 2019’.
 
The programme which was aimed at fostering the spirit of togetherness among Johor Port employees and spreading the goodwill during Ramadhan; was graced by Tuan Haji Rosnan Fathlal, Chairman of JPA. Also present at the event were YB Dato’ Seri Haji Che Zakaria Mohd Salleh, Board Member of JPA cum State Legislative Assembly of Permas, En. Hermee Tahir, Head of Human Resources and Administration of Johor Port; along with other senior management members of Johor Port and JPA.
 
The programme also saw great teamwork as Johor Port and JPA worked hand in hand tirelessly as early as 8:00 am to cook 10 large pots of the much sought-after dish for breaking fast. 
 
A total of 3,700 containers of ‘Bubur Lambuk’ were distributed to Johor Port and JPA employees, Johor Port’s tenants and local communities in Pasir Gudang area. Johor Port volunteers also took to the road, distributing ‘Bubur Lambuk’ packets to passing motorists at four strategic locations in Pasir Gudang. Road users were pleasantly superised to receive the ‘Bubur Lambuk’ and goodwill gesture demonstrated by Johor Port during the fasting month.
 
With great support and well-coordinated team effort, the overall preparation, packing and distribution of ‘Bubur Lambuk’ proved to be a great success. Johor Port intends to continue the annual traditional of distributing ‘Bubur Lambuk’ as one of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the relationship between the companyt and its stakeholders including the local communities.
