Johor Port Berhad Mobilises Aid to Pasir Gudang Community Affected by Chemical Pollution

Johor Port Berhad (JPB), a Member of MMC Group provided assistance to help ease the chemical pollution recovery in Pasir Gudang, Johor by mobilising its ambulances since day one of the incident. Boxes of oxygen tanks, respirator masks, bread, biscuits, drinking waters,  milk, towels and daily essentials were also donated to the rescuers and victims of the crisis. 
 
The aid mobilisation effort was coordinated as part of a collaboration effort from MMC Group southern based operating companies, Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), Johor Port Berhad (JPB), Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATS) and Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SAC) with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Johor.
 
The aid supplies were handed over to DOSH Johor representative, Senior Deputy Director of Management Services, Nurul Huda Binti Abdul Manaf at DOSH Johor Office at Menara TJB, Johor Bahru. The aid was then delivered by Deputy Director of DOSH Johor, Ir Ahmad Jailani Bin Mansor to Johor State Executive Chairman of Health, Environment and Agriculture, Dr Sahruddin Jamal, accompanied by Johor Bahru Health District Officer, Dr Norasikin Mahadan at Menara Aqabah, Pasir Gudang City Council.
