Johor Port Berhad (JPB), a Member of MMC Group successfully organised an inaugural charity walk, themed ‘Walk for Fun, Walk for Health, Walk for Charity’ aimed at raising funds for Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Nur Ehsan, a senior citizen centre and simultaneously promoting a healthier lifestyle. The event was attended by more than 800 participants across Johor Bahru.
 
The charity walk was officiated by Encik Shahrull Allam Shah, Chief Executive Officer of JPB and graced by the presence of Tuan Ir Haji Sharipin, Chairman of Rumah Kebajikan Nur Ehsan.
 
The 3km walk started as early as 8.00 AM around Bukit Layang-Layang, Pasir Gudang. Many fun-filled activities were conducted during the event including bottle toss, ‘shoot em all’, ring toss as well as wellness activity such as free health screen test by Hospital Penawar Pasir Gudang.
 
The event was organised by JPB as part of its initiative to fulfil its role as a responsible organisation in community development.
