Johor Port Inspires Parents Through Motivational Talk

1 April 2017, Johor Port Berhad (JPB), a Member of MMC Group organised a motivational talk on ‘Positive Parenting’ as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme for more than 100 parents of Sek Keb Bukit Lintang’s Counselling Club.
The half-day programme saw Tn. Hj Othman Mohamed, Senior Manager of JPB Human Resources & Administration giving motivational talk to inspire the parents to make a positive difference towards their child’s ability to cope with academic and organisational demands. The insightful and eye-opening talk covered the complexities of parenthood as well as insights and advice aimed to contribute towards the well-being of both the parents and their children.
En. Md Bahaman Ibrahim, Head of Technical Division of JPB who officiated the school’s PIBG Meeting on the same day, said “We hope all the parents will find inspiration in the insights shared by the speaker. Over the years, JPB has consistently organised various CSR programmes and social welfare support initiatives. We will continue to do so and ensure that the students and the local communities can benefit from JPB’s presence.”
The motivational talk demonstrated JPB’s commitment to nurture the community’s education as well as family development, to develop the future leaders of the community, industry and nation. It also forms part of JPB Corporate Sustainability Framework which emphasises on human development and education, among others.
