Dato' Mohd. Taufik bin Abdullah

Executive Chairman
Completed secondary education at the Malay College, Kuala Kangsar
in 1961 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University
of Malaya in 1966. In 1968, he obtained a post-graduate Diploma
in Operational Research from the Woolwich Polytechnic, London
and continued his post-graduate education at the Essex University,
United Kingdom where he obtained a Master of Science Degree in
Statistics and Operational Research in 1969. He has been a Fellow
of the Institute of Bankers Malaysia since 1986.
He joined Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM") in 1970 and
initially served in the Economic Research and Statistics Department,
where he rose to the position of Assistant Chief Economist. He
was subsequently promoted to the post of Secretary of BNM in 1977,
a position he held until 1980 when he was appointed as Manager,
Bank Regulation Department in BNM. In 1983, while serving as Manager
in the same Department, he was also appointed to the post of Adviser
and was responsible for overseeing a number of departments in
BNM.
In January 1985, he was appointed as an Executive Director of
Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad until 1989 when he joined United
Asian Bank Berhad (Bank of Commerce Berhad) as Director/Chief
Executive of the bank, a position he held until 1991.
He was appointed to the Board of Directors of JPB and was elected
the Executive Chairman of the Company on 22 September 1995. He
sits on the Board of Malaysian National Reinsurance Berhad and
is also the Chairman of Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn. Bhd.

Abdul Khalid Khan bin Lal Khan

Executive Director
Attended Hawaii Pacific University, USA in the Faculty of Business
Administration (Marketing) 3rd year. He joined Johor Port Berhad
in September 1999 as a Business Coordinator. Since 3rd December
1999, he was appointed as an Executive Director, a position he
holds until now.
He has a span of 10 years working experience in shipping and
maritime related services covering such areas as spot, time charter,
Contract of Affreightment ("COA") of vessels which require
him to maintain close contact with shipowners and international
trading houses. He also dealt with cargoes such as petroleum products,
chemicals and dry bulk. Other marine activities dealt by him include
tug, pilot, mooring services, port operations, ship/port equipment
and machinery.

Nik Roslini binti Raja Ismail

Ooi Teik Huat
Aged 45, Malaysian,
Appointed to the Board of Directors of JPB on 15 January 1999.
He has served as a member of the JPB Audit Committee since 15
January 1999 and was appointed as its Chairman on 29 November
2001. He was also appointed as a member of the JPB Nomination
Committee on 11 December 2001 and a member of JPB Remuneration
Committee on 25 February 2002.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Monash
University, Australia and is a member of CPA Australia and the
Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He began his career with Messrs Hew & Co (now known as Messrs
Moores Rowland), Chartered Accountants in 1984 before joining
the Corporate Advisory Department of Malaysian International Merchant
Bankers Berhad in 1989. Between 1993 and 1996, he was Head, Corporate
Finance of Pengkalen Holdings Berhad (now known as Pan Malaysia
Holdings Berhad). He is presently a Director of Johore Tenggara
Oil Palm Berhad and several private limited companies.

Datuk Mohd Sidik Shaik Osman
Aged 56, Malaysian,
The Chief Executive Officer of Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn.
Bhd. Was appointed to the Board of Directors of Johor Port Berhad
on 3rd December 1999. He was also appointed as a member of the
JPB Remuneration Committee on 25 February 2002. He graduated with
a Degree in Bachelor of Science (Hons.) (Econs.) from the University
of Science Malaysia. After graduating, he joined the Malaysian
Administrative and Diplomatic Services and in 1974 was appointed
as Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Industry. In 1979
he was appointed as Principal Assistant Secretary (Port), Ministry
of Transport.
In 1987 to 1988, he was granted study leave to pursue a Master
Degree at the World Maritime University, Sweden where he obtained
Master of Science (Maritime). Thereafter between 1988 and 1992,
he served as Secretary to the National Maritime Council of the
Prime Minister's Department. From 1992 to 1996, he served as the
Team Leader for Straits of Malacca Radar Project, Prime Minister's
Department. Between 1996 to August 1997, he served as the Deputy
Director General in the Prime Minister's Department.
In September 1997, he was appointed as Executive Director of
Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas. He was subsequently promoted to the
post of Chief Executive Officer of Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas in
January 2000, a position he holds until now. He is also a director
of MMC Corporation Berhad and several private limited companies.
